Your new company
You will be working for a well regarded CA firm within the Glasgow head office. The firm work with a range of not for profit and commercial clients and operate a busy audit practice. They are looking for an experienced audit manager who can help the firm in delivering the technical audit elements whilst also managing a small portfolio of clients.
Your new role
Within this busy role you will work directly with partners to oversee a portfolio of clients and ensuring that compliance requirements are met as well as providing high level technical guidance on accounting and audit issues to staff and partners. You will have a high standard of technical knowledge and awareness of emerging issues, attending courses to support this.
Amongst the range of duties you will help develop audit processes and manuals within the firm, provide advice to staff around technical aspects of audit and present to partners and staff alike on key technical updates within the audit space.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have experience of working in an external audit role and will be qualified via CA or ACCA. You will have strong technical knowledge and the softer skills needed to deliver engaging content and training to staff within the firm.
