Huge global client has a great opportunity for a Security Operating Centre Service Delivery Analyst (SOC) to support the successful implementation, running and development of an outsourced Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) across the Group organisation. You are required to monitor the global portal(s) and ensure that all reported items are followed up in a timely and appropriate manner and that any incidents are assigned to the appropriate support staff.
As a SOC analyst you will demonstrate a knowledge and appreciation of the current cyber threats and security measures available, this will require a combination of strong business awareness and good technical IT knowledge or experience. You will have at least 3 years of IT experience with exposure to Service Delivery, have knowledge of Service Delivery frameworks such as ITIL, experience in developing, documenting and maintaining security policies, processes, procedures and standards, an awareness of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO2700, ITIL, COBIT or NIST. Any experience in a Security Operations Centre is desirable as is any involvement in the management of external MSP’s.
As the Incident Detection and Response activities of the GSOC are predominantly outsourced to a single large Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) you will be required to maintain strong working relationships with the MSSP contacts, validate MSSP invoice details and prepares guidance for cross charging costs to different parts of the NYK organisation and participate in regular review sessions with the MSSP to analyse value delivered, adherence to SLAs and suggested enhancements. Communicates any performance issues to the relevant MSSP and/or stakeholders
