HR Business Partner
Your new company
Working for a fast paced, diverse and developing manufacturing business based in Carlisle. Working within a key HR operational role, reporting directly into the HR Manager and supporting the wider business with union negotiations within a traditional manufacturing environment. As a HR Business Partner you will manage stakeholder relations, complex case management and driving positive behaviours across the site and the wider organisation.
Your new role
As a credible member of the Human Resources team this role will ensure managers and employees of the business understand the company policies and procedures, applying them fairly and consistently across the organisation. In addition to this demonstrating professional behaviours, good team work and respect for employee confidentiality at all times working in accordance with the business values.
The role is required to work with all functions based at Carlisle, with the main focus on Industrial and Technical, i.e. Production, Engineering, Quality and R&D. The objective is to provide guidance across the full HR activity set, including resource planning, recruitment and selection, talent management, engagement and retention, reward and employee relations in order to maximise individual and business performance.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will need to be resilient with fair and consistent in their approach and logic.
Strong coaching and advising experience within a manufacturing/industrial environment
CIPD Level 5 qualification and above
Union exposure and union negotiations
