Reporting to the Company Secretary and Head of Corporate Support, the Governance Executive will provide proactive and professional governance and secretariat support to the Chief Executive’s Group (CEG), the Board and its committees. This will include efficient, accurate and proactive secretariat support to agreed service standards through the use of appropriate systems and procedures for the Corporate Support Team.
Advance HE has office locations in York, London and Edinburgh and there will be a requirement to travel to these locations as part of the role. There may also be a requirement to work away from home for short periods of time. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Corporate Support team are working remotely from home, delivering secretariat support via Teams and Zoom calls. We are therefore looking for someone who is competent in supporting virtual meetings and experienced with these technologies.
The Governance Executive’s primary responsibilities are:
