EMEA Quality Management System Associate Job Description EMEA Quality Management System Associate Location – Reigate
This position is for a Quality Management System (QMS) Associate who will be a member of the EMEA Quality Team, reporting to the EMEA Quality Director. The QMS Associate will provide administrative and tactical support to the Quality Team and cross-functional teams to help the development and deployment of quality initiatives, standards and tools. The position also has scope to become a Quality Professional.
Assist and support the EMEA Quality Team in development and implementation of quality projects and initiatives across the region and countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Help to manage QMS documentation to ensure consistent, efficient and compliant processes Support timely preparation of quality reporting Participate in project teams and occasionally take lead on elements of moderate size and complexity Support or take ownership of moderate QMS processes
Provide administrative support to EMEA Quality Team in booking and expensing travel, setting and organizing bigger meetings, raising purchase orders, invoicing etc. Works closely with the Regulatory Affairs Associate for providing administrative support during periods of absence. Manage self in accordance with the One K-C Behaviors and Culture of Accountability Communicate appropriately with all business customers (internal and external) and peers, conducting all communications and transactions with the utmost integrity and honesty
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline and/or typically some experience in one or more areas of Quality Management or comparable function is required.
General knowledge of Quality Management principles, requirements and ISO 9001 is desirable.
Experience should include close working relationships with other business functions i.e. Marketing, Manufacturing, Research and Regulatory Affairs functions, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Ability to work effectively with computer systems and a thorough knowledge of current office practices and procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES/ KEY BEHAVIOURS
Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects, the ability to work well under pressure, good oral and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills. The ability to demonstrate judgment, function as a cooperative team member, organize workload and setting priorities are essential.
Fluency in English and Ability to Work in a Diverse Team across different time zones are Essential.
