This bank is hiring a Business Analyst who has experience with Project Management and has previously worked with counterparty credit risk. It would be a hybrid role, 65% BA and 35% PM, and would be focused on providing key analysis for factors that affect counterparty risk, then using this analysis to implement change. There would be a combination of ad-hoc requests as well and long term projects to work on.
This opportunity has two elements. The Business Analyst element would require experience gathering and writing functional requirements, and an understanding and ability to calculate risk measures (eg PFE, EFEE, EE). Potential applicants would need technical experience with UAT testing and VBA or SQL coding, experience with Murex or MCL would preferable. The Project Management element would require experience delivering change on an ad-hoc basis and on longer-term projects, previous experience working with and managing stakeholders within risk, coordinating change with stakeholders, and the ability to forward plan for upcoming projects.
The hiring bank is a large UK bank that works with retail and corporate banking, with this opportunity sitting within the investment bank. There is a focus on a values-led culture to create an enjoyable and collaborative working environment. The bank has projects planned that will transform the way the bank operates and is looking for strong applicants to help deliver this change.
