We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Finance and Transformation Analyst to join our Group Finance team based from our Farringdon, London HQ. This role offers the successful candidate high profile exposure to our senior finance leadership team, chief transformation officer as well as GMC.
As the Corporate Finance and Transformation Analyst you will be responsible for business partnering the Corporate Transformation Office as JM continues its transformation agenda (c. 50%) and support Corporate processes (c. 50%). You will provide accurate and timely financial information relating to the consolidated UK, US and China corporate cost centres and functions to senior management. Review processes ahead of Unify (SAP) implementation with a view to streamlining and automating where possible.
Partnering Transformation Office:
o Financial oversight and control of JM’s Transformation Programme, supporting JM’s Chief Transformation Officer.
o Support of Sectors/Functions Workstream Leads and their respective Workstream Teams on all aspects of Transformation Office financial governance and control.
o Assist Sectors/Functions with ARC maintenance/administration.
o Review of Workstream Restructure Costs and Benefits (Financial and Headcount) as submitted in ARC by the Sector/Business/Function, including reconciliation of Restructure Costs submitted to Group Finance through the standard MOR/FA Pack process.
o Consolidation of Workstream Restructure Costs and Benefits (Financial and Headcount) for onward reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer and GMC, including commentary on the performance of JM’s Transformation Programme and its component workstreams.
o Identification and validation of all Restructure Costs and Benefits (Financial and Headcount)
o In conjunction with Group Finance, ensure accurate reporting of Transformation activities in accordance with accounting standards and JM’s accounting policies.
o Oversight of the financial impact of JM’s Transformation Programme (i.e. validation of Restructure Costs and Benefits (Financial and Headcount) submitted by Sectors/Functions)
o Ensure accurate reporting of Transformation activities in accordance with accounting standards and JM’s accounting policies.
o Engage with JM’s auditors to effectively communicate JM’s Transformation Programme activities, including the preparation of memos/papers to support these activities, their financial impact and accounting treatment.
o Assist Investor Relations to effectively communicate JM’s Transformation Programme activities to external stakeholders
o Maintain approved Transformation Office Finance policies and procedures, including Business Case and Reporting templates.
o Advise on and review workstream business cases through the Planning stages and in seeking approval to move to Stage 3 – Execute.
o Plan, control and produce the annual budget for consolidated corporate working closely with the function and cost centre owners to ensure the budgets take account of the latest information and all known changes.
o Plan, control and produce the annual ten-year strategic plan for consolidated Corporate.This entails working closely with the function and cost centre owners to ensure all future plans are incorporated and creating, validating and communicating group recharges.
