About the Opportunity:
I’ve been approached by one of my clients who work within the Niche market of Fibrous plastering to recruit a Business Development Manager for high end projects within London. You will be based in their offices in Chelmsford but will be expected to visit existing clients and meet with new clients to expand their portfolio. This role is a standalone role reporting directly to the MD.

About the Employer:
Our client is a highly-respected, award winning contractor within the interior fit out market who pride themselves as an industry leader within fibrous plastering and internal restoration. Established for over 30 years our client is a specialist within the market and have an incredible reputation due to continued project success. This continued success has enabled them to gain a strong portfolio of high profile clients and top tier contractors including: Beck interiors, Walter Lilly and Galliford Try. The majority of their work is predominately London oriented but with strong connections overseas they have completed projects in Qatar, USA and France.
To be successful all applicants must have worked within a similar role and have connections to Main contractors, fit out subcontractors and Architects. You must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience and have previously worked alongside the preconstruction team. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to programmes and deadline, be flexible to adapt to change and have a keen eye for quality. The successful applicant will show proven experience within a Business Development Role.
Salary will be in the region of £40,000 – £50,000 + Their Company Package. Subject to skill and experience. The company offers a fantastic working environment and will provide the opportunity to progress your career through excellent guidance, support and training.
